Cellini

Cellini beading is basically even count peyote stitch but graduated sizes of beads are used.
You can work in flat, straight lines or diagonal, or even a pattern.  You can work in tubular peyote in
a spiral pattern or straight rows.  If you want to work in a chevron pattern, you may need to use odd
count peyote, depending on how the pattern repeats.
It's a good idea to start the piece with an even amount of rows of the 11 delica or seed bead first. 
When you break between the pattern of graduated sizes, use the same amount of rows for the break.

Beaded Cuff Bracelet

This one is in shades of ivory and terra cotta. Shopping for those was fun. Who knew there could be so many shades of ivory! I think the cab is some sort of agate. If you recognize it, please let me
know.
I added a few copper accents, which I really like and just made up the stitching as I
went along. Like a crazy quilt.
I used a 1 1/4" aluminum cuff blank to maintain the shape. I flatten the area where the
cab sits. And I used a soft flannel
for the backing. Feels good on the wrist.

Snowflake Bracelet

The Swarovski Snowflake pendant element is gorgeous. What a sparkler! Photos can't do it justice.
I used the silver leaf chain and added Swarovski pearls and rounds with bead caps. I also used some filigree snowflakes. I made the clasp with a larger silver bead and chain loop.

The rest of the bracelet is tubular peyote stitch with Delica Bead # 851, Matte Transparent Crystal AB and DB # 551, Bright Sterling Silver Plated.

Twisted Herringbone Bracelet

I finished beading this quite a bit ago. I wanted to put caps on the ends but finding just the 'right' ones took awhile. I really like these cones and the S hook, both in copper.
The bracelet is done in herringbone twist in Miyuki #40 copper, #21 steel, #1 gunmetal and #35 galvanized silver. Very simple to make and very pretty.

Tiger Eye Cuff

Since our 7th grade field trip to NYC where we visited the Museum of Natural History, tiger eye has been one of my favorite gemstone. My souvenir from the museum was a box with a dozen or so different gemstones.
This bead cuff features a tiger eye focal, chips and rice beads.

I stitched on lightweight suede leather, but it is tough on the fingers pushing a needle through it.
When we go to town next, I'll check for the stiff felt at Michaels.

But here's a chart for Valentine's - LOVE
Created on the Beadelator program, it measures
2." wide by 6 " inches longer. You can add rows
on each end to make it longer if you need to do
so. It's done up in Peyote. I left the background
white, but you can change that to another color if you are so inclined.

Christmas Bells Pattern

Christmas Bells. Repeated twice this would measure just under 8" long. That may be a little long for a bracelet, so you may just want to have a wide border on each side of the bells and do the pattern only once, if you need a small bracelet. The pattern is 2.55" wide. Cuff Bracelet Update - Cab Pt 5

Just an update - I have almost finished the right side embroidery. Just a bit more to fill it all in.
The left side will mirror the right and the center will be fill in also. Then it will be sewn over a 1 3/4" metal cuff bracelet form. It isn't as time consuming as I thought it would be. I've been working on it 10 minutes here and there. I'll have another update soon. I am really pleased with it so far.

Cab Along with Me.....

Was that a Perry Como song? Oh, that was Dream Along with Me, sorry.
Our next adventure will be bead embroidery. This will eventually be a
cuff bracelet. I'm working on a lightweight piece of leather. I've outlined
the shapes of the cabochons on the leather and I've started to do the
stitching for the first stone. First, I'm outlining it with 11/0 seed beads.
Since the subsequent rows of beads around the cabochons will be in peyote
stitch, I'll make sure the first row has an even number of beads.

Time in the Fall

Copper seem to call to me this fall. First a copper watch face, then a clasp. So copper was the natural color choice for the band, made up in herringbone stitch. I like the clasp so much, I thought it looked great next to the watch face instead of the normal spot. Glass autumn leaves were used to embellish the band for just a extra kick.

Three Drop Peyote - Bargello Pattern

Three Drop Peyote is odd count so you'll need to familiarize yourself how to turn at the end of a row.
I've made the chart in shades of lavender to purple, but it would look great in shades of blue, rose, green, or even shades of gray to black.

This can be worked in Delica's or seed beads in 11/0's. Repeat pattern until you have desired length.

Raised Diamond Pattern

The chart for this is below in an older post. It's worked in peyote with 11's, 8's and 6's. The various sized beads form the raised areas. Makes an interesting raised effect. I finished this bracelet last spring but an idea for the closure just didn't jump out at me until the other day at
Michaels.

Snowman Chart - Peyote

Here's a Snowman chart perfect for a bracelet. It measures 2.6 " wide and 6.33 " long. If you want it longer, just add a few more red rows at the beginning and end. Pattern was made on BeadCreatorPro. He'd be cute embellished with some tiny jingle bells too. Use your ctrl and + key to enlarge pattern on your screen.

Black and Red

It's been also called the Bracelet from Hell. Keeping those diagonal lines in their proper places was major eye strain, and I had to go back and rip out a few times. Done in Delicas size 11, seed beads sizes 11, 8 and 6 to give the diamond pattern a raised effect. It's a chunky piece but I think it will look great with a black sweater.

Tidal Pool Bracelet

Finished! And I love it. I took these photos down on the beach, but later I'll try a couple indoors with the flash. Most of the beads I used were silver lined and they really sparkle in the sun.
I mentioned to Gary that the glasses I just got last year don't seem to be strong enough anymore, he looked at the bracelet and said 'no wonder'.

Herringbone with Cubes

This worked up really fast, less than 2 hours.
Herringbone done with 4mm black matte and silver cubes.
Santa knows how good I was this year and left my Christmas present early. It's a 12 mega pixels Olympus with a 26 optical zoom. Love it. I'm still learning all the 'bells and whistles'.

Snowflakes Are Tumblin'

We just had a big snowfall, so finishing this piece just in time. Named in honor of my friend, Suzie, who is always encouraging me to be even more craftier!
I'm convinced photographing bead work is harder than beading the piece. If you click on the photo to enlarge, the detail shows up better.
Next, I need to switch gears from a wintery theme to seaside. We'll be leaving for Fla in just a couple of days. I've got plenty of beads packed for the trip.
