The weather has been nasty, so I've been playing more with beads. Here's another beaded bead. The beading is peyote stitch over a wooden bead like that shown in the photo.
Another storm coming tomorrow, so what bead will it be next?
Well, here's my first attempt at blogging. The gardening season is winding down and my mind is once again returning the beading ideas. I've spent some time this last week taking inventory of my delica stash because I keep buying duplicates! I guess I'm just drawn to the same colors when I'm shopping. I bead mostly on a loom, but this winter I want to try some smaller, in-hand projects.
Hand-made ceramic tart warmers, oil diffusers, soap dishes, lotions dispensers and other matching accessories for the kitchen and the
bath.
Other interests - beading, shade gardening, especially hosta and lilies, tea tasting, birdwatching.
I run a gardening co-op for purchasing plants and have a great time doing that. I've been making ceramics for almost 30 years and now trying my hand at a little sculpting with paper clay.
